Everyone needs a place where they can find Love, Answers and Fulfillment . We are that place.

The Metaphysical is at times described as an attainable consciousness where all questions have answers. Quantum physics does this for physics; parables do this for the Bible. The underlying goal is to reach some in depth understanding of our true self and then feel comfortable to pursue what gives us happiness and meaning in our lives. With our master teacher, Jesus the Christ and through prayer we reach within and, rest assured, answers are found. That is what we know happens here at T heF irst United Metaphysical Chapel of Bahama NC. Understanding our unique individual passion is the key to happiness and that is what God wants for us. If I have questions we have only to ask the universe through prayer. The answer may come at any time, in any form. We must be ready to listen.

Listening is key. Providing not only time but a quiet place to listen to our inner spirit is what God needs to reveal himself to us. God is not projected out there as someone to emulate. We need to know that God is within each of us, living through us through our choices. Our beautifully peace filled chapel can definitely provide one of those places.

I say one of those places because it is not the only way God reveals answers to our prayers. We do however need to learn how to listen. Sometimes we do not listen to the answers to our prayers because we are afraid. Deep down we are afraid of death. The fear of death paralyses our mind and sets us on a path of defensive thoughts, afraid to make the choice that unlocks our true nature. Death means loss. It not only means the traditional fear of loosing our earthly body but maybe loss of another kind. It could be fear of loosing a dear friend from our choice, or fear of risking our reputation. So what is the price of fear? It is loss of self, the very being of God within us. As a group at our chapel we support each other's private prayers without judgement. We provide a collective consciousness to ask our questions. Then, as a congregation we try very hard to create an atmosphere of acceptance so as individuals we can feel supportive to one another to recieve an answer.

What is this collective consciousness? It refers to our congregation and how very focused and sincere all our prayers are. It happens in an atmosphere of quiet that is deafening, so deafening that you cannot help but feel the prayers. As said before we have to be ready to listen and to recieve the answers to our prayers. This congregation provides just that, in part because there is no thought of judgement. The collective consciousness has respect for the ways God reveals our true mature to us. To help are the leaders in the congregation whose natural fine tuned instincts are wise to God's messages.
